Fetish Friday: Objectophilia

Good Afternoon everyone! Finally, Friday has come again. Today, I'm going to talk about one of my favorite fetishes. A fetish, that I believe, would have the best swingers parties ever.

Today's Fetish: Objectophilia

Objectophilia is the sexual attraction towards inanimate objects. Technically, objectophilia is a sexual orientation and not a fetish, but I think it's so interesting that it deserves a spot on Fetish Friday. The reason objectophilia is an orientation, as opposed to a paraphilia, is because a person with OS (Objectum Sexuality) sees the object as a equal partner, not a means to an orgasm. Many objectophiles are not able to form emotional bonds with other humans, so they develop strong romantic and personal bonds and feelings of commitment with inanimate objects such as cars, mannequins, buildings, bridges, etc.
Objectophilia can be sub-categorized into various groups, and in some cases, fetishes. Don't worry, I'll talk about all these fetishes in later posts. all in due time. These include:
  • Agalmatophilia- Human-like objects including dolls, mannequins, statues
  • Mechanophilia- Cars
  • Pediophilia- Blow up dolls
  • Technosexuality- Robots
In recent years, objectophilia has garnered media attention, thanks to vocal objectophiles such as Erika La Tour Eiffel and Eija-Riita Eklöf-Mauer. Erika has done interviews for Good Morning America and Tyra, bringing to light this newly discovered orientation. Many objectophiles attribute feelings, opinions and souls to their partners and can cultivate deep, meaningful relationships with them, sometimes for years or decades at a time. Some OS people can remain faithful and in love to one object their entire lives and eventually marry it.
In popular culture, objectophilia is earning the spotlight rapidly. These are some examples of objectophilia in the mainstream:
  • Nip/Tuck: A surgeon competing for a top position at McNamara/Troy is discovered to have sexual urges towards furniture in the office. This leads to his immediate firing.
  • Boston Legal: Leigh Swift characterizes herself as an objectophile.
  • National Geographic's show, Taboo, does a special about the orientation.
  • TLC featured a mechanophile in My Strange Addiction.
  • Outkast has a song titled "Objectum Sexuality".
  • Married to the Eiffel Tower is a documentary on Erika La Tour Eiffel.
  • Dr. Krieger, a character from the hit show, Archer, has a virtual girlfriend who he eventually marries.
There are numerous websites and articles that write about objectophilia, as well as several forums for enthusiasts. And finally, Christians have begun debating whether it's moral or not, linking it to homosexuality. You know once you've managed to get Christians' attention, you know you've made it.
Honestly, I think objectophiles are awesome. I never have to worry about them hitting on my boyfriend, I always know out the gate that we won't fight about boys, and they always have the best sex stories. I can't wait until the LGBT community has all the rights they are entitled to so we can move onto OS Pride Parades! Hopefully no one will try to have sex with the banners.
Ok, enough of you all. Go get your kink on!

Here's some objectophilia porn. And some more Objectum Sexual relationships.

I tried to Google "Sex with objects", but all I got was images of sexy women. Dick move, Google. Dick move. Funny enough, today is "International Women's Day". So this is what you get:
